Miss America 1944 Exercises Her 2nd Amendment Right
Here's a woman who's 82 years old, and still has a handgun for her protection. There were some criminals breaking into her barn where thieves had previously stolen farm equipment. When she confronted them, they tried to flee, but the former Miss America pulls out a .38 snub-nose and shoots out the tires on the getaway vehicle! She had to balance herself on her walker to get the shots off. Amazing!
"I didn't even think twice. I just went and did it," she said. "If they'd even dared come close to me, they'd be 6 feet under by now."
She was able to flag down a vehicle and they called 911. One man was charged with misdemeanor trespassing and the other three were released.
This is why they were named "the greatest generation". They hold people responsible for their actions.
Even though this man will probably get off with a fine, the psychological punishment that this woman dished out should make those guys think twice about stealing from people again.
