And The Shooter Is...
23-year-old Cho Seung-Hui (pronounced Choh Suhng-whee) from South Korea. He was an English major. He had lived in the United States for 14 years. The following are "confirmed" which clears some things up.
He was a resident alien which would allow him to purchase the gun.
He was a loner, and authorities are having a difficult time getting the info they need.
One of the guns was a Glock 9mm, the other was .22 cal pistol and he still had the receipt for them.
Ballistic's tests show the gun was used in both shootings, at the dorm and the engineering building.
The serial number was scratched off the guns.
He left behind a "disturbing note" which has yet to be released.
