New Israel/US Report To Show Saddam Transferred WMD's To Syria

A joint report from the US and Israel governments will show that Saddam transferred WMD's to Syria.

An upcoming joint US-Israel report on the September 6 IAF strike on a Syrian facility will claim that former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein transferred weapons of mass destruction to the country, Channel 2 stated Monday.

Furthermore, according to a report leaked to the TV channel, Syria has arrested 10 intelligence officials following the assassination of Hizbullah terror chief Imad Mughniyeh.

 

While it is interesting that they have this "evidence" and that a news source would cover it, This is not new news. Anyone that has read the book "Saddam's Secrets" by Fmr. Iraqi General Georges Sada would have known this. Gen. Sada revealed that the WMD's were transferred to Syria shortly before the war under the guise of a humanitarian mission. Saddam stripped out commercial planes and used them as cargo planes as well as commercial trucks to send in the WMD's. The idea was that Saddam thought we would come in blow some stuff up and then leave, much like the first Gulf War. Syria was to hold them until he was back in power.
