This is like the American version of Godzilla and Mothra. Except they don't destroy Tokyo, they destroy the morale of our troops. I need to hear someone say "Gojira" today.

Photoshopped or whatever. I personally like Paint Shop Pro and GIMP. The main reason of course it price, but those products work well and GIMP has the same functions as Photoshop and it's free.
