Time For A Wiener Roast; Those Crazy Danes And The Mohammed Effigy Burning

Not the beef ones either, these need to have pork in them. Coming soon, more things burning and fatwas.

From Gates of Vienna

...a group in Denmark was planning to burn an effigy of Mohammed (instead of a witch) at the traditional midsummer festival.

Since then the group that burned the Prophet has contacted SIAD, who kindly uploaded the video...

Here is the translation for the text at the beginning of the clip:

We declare:
Saint Hans’ Eve has always celebrated the tradition of burning away the evil, in earlier times symbolized by the witch, who was supposedly directly connected to Satan. And if the witch was not burned then the harvest could not be safely brought into the house.

Now a new evil has arrived in Europe, an evil that lies and kills in the name of their so-called God. An evil that springs from the so-called Prophet Mohammed. Therefore, in our time, it is he who symbolizes evil and it is not just one harvest that will disappear, but all of Western Europe’s future that will vanish if this evil is not dispatched to Hekkenfeldt [i.e. Hell, literally the Hekla volcano in Iceland — BB].

Therefore will we burn the so-called Prophet Mohammed, on June 23, 2007, in three nameless places.

We burned Mohammed in three different places across the country. We now release the video from the first burning. The next videos will be released on July 23 and August 23.

For a Mohammed-free Denmark!!!

Iranian Revolutionary Guard Forces Spotted Crossing Into Iraq

I have several questions about this continuing invasion. Why are they able to make to back into Iran? Wouldn't this be considered an act of war? Why are they allowed to roam around freely? Shouldn't they be immediately engaged? They should either be shot or detained. Even taking every B-52 and B-2 bomber in our military, loading them to max with bombs, and then opening up over Iran would be better than what were doing.

Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces have been spotted by British troops crossing the border into southern Iraq, The Sun tabloid reported on Tuesday.

Britain's defence ministry would not confirm or deny the report, with a spokesman declining to comment on "intelligence matters".

An unidentified intelligence source told the tabloid: "It is an extremely alarming development and raises the stakes considerably. In effect, it means we are in a full on war with Iran -- but nobody has officially declared it."

"We have hard proof that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps have crossed the border to attack us. It is very hard for us to strike back. All we can do is try to defend ourselves. We are badly on the back foot."

The Sun said that radar sightings of Iranian helicopters crossing into the Iraqi desert were confirmed to it by very senior military sources.

In response to the report, a British defence ministry spokesman said: "There is evidence that explosive devices used against our troops in southern Iraq originated in Iran."

WCW/WWE Wrestler Chris Benoit And Family Found Dead

More info can be found at this post w/ more updates: 14 Hours Before Police Found The Bodies, Chris Benoit's Wife Was Listed As Dead On Wikipedia

It's absolutely shocking. When I used to watch wrestling, he was one of my favorites.  Crippler Crossface.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. - WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and son were found dead Monday and police said they were investigating the deaths as a homicide.

Lt. Tommy Pope of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department said the three were found at their home about 2:30 p.m., but refused to release details.

Pope said results of autopsies on Benoit, his wife Nancy, and 7-year-old son Daniel were expected Tuesday.

Benoit, 40, was a former world heavyweight champion, Intercontinental champion and held several tag-team titles over his career.

***UPDATE***

Even more shocking.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. - WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife, and son were found dead Monday and police said they were investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide.

Detective Bo Turner told television station WAGA that the case was being treated as a murder-suicide, but said that couldn't be confirmed until evidence was examined by a crime lab.

The station said that investigators believe the 40-year-old Benoit killed his wife, Nancy, and 7-year-old son, Daniel, over the weekend, then himself on Monday. A neighbor called police, and the bodies were found in three rooms.

***UPDATE 06/26/07 2:25PM***

It just keeps getting worse. The reports from Fox News are, he strangled his wife on Saturday, suffocated his son on Sunday, then he hung himself Monday.

ATLANTA - Pro wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife and smothered his son before hanging himself in his weight room, a law enforcement official close to the investigation told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Authorities also said they are investigating whether steroids may have been a factor in the deaths of Benoit, his wife and their 7-year-old son. Steroid abuse has been linked to depression, paranoia, and aggressive behavior or angry outbursts known as "roid rage."

Shortly before I read this article, I was having a conversation with a friend about this. I thought it could be steroids. She doesn't think so because the WWE tests for steroids and fires those who come up positive. That may be true to a certain extent. I think they test those wrestlers they want to get rid of anyway. They have contracts so it's not so easy to just fire them. It's a win-win for the company. They get rid of a wrestler they didn't want and the company looks good for being tough on steroids.

***UPDATE 6/27/07 1:21AM***

He definitely came unhinged.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. - Pro wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife, suffocated his 7-year-old son and placed a Bible next to their bodies before hanging himself with a weight-machine pulley, authorities said Tuesday.

Investigators found anabolic steroids in the house and want to know whether the muscle man nicknamed "The Canadian Crippler" was unhinged by the bodybuilding drugs, which can cause paranoia, depression and explosive outbursts known as "roid rage."

Authorities offered no motive for the killings, which were spread out over a weekend, and would not discuss Benoit's state of mind. No suicide note was found.

The Voices Are Telling Chavez To Prepare For Resistance War With U.S.

This sounds like an episode of South Park.  La Resistance!

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) - President Hugo Chavez urged soldiers on Sunday to prepare for a guerrilla-style war against the United States, saying that Washington is using psychological and economic warfare as part of an unconventional campaign aimed at derailing his government.

Dressing in olive green fatigues and a red beret, Chavez spoke inside Tiuna Fort—Venezuela's military nerve-center—before hundreds of uniformed soldiers standing alongside armored vehicles and tanks decorated with banners reading: "Fatherland, Socialism, or Death! We will triumph!"

"We must continue developing the resistance war, that's the anti- imperialist weapon. We must think and prepare for the resistance war everyday," said Chavez, who has repeatedly warned that American soldiers could invade Venezuela to seize control of the South American nation's immense oil reserves.

Chavez—a close ally of Cuban leader Fidel Castro—told soldiers the Washington was trying to weaken and divide Venezuelan society, including the armed forces, without resorting to combat.

"It's not just armed warfare," said Chavez, a former army officer who is leading what he calls the "Bolivarian Revolution," a socialist movement named after 19th-century independence hero Simon Bolivar. "I'm also referring to psychological warfare, media warfare, political warfare, economic warfare."

He says we are waging a psychological and economic war with Venezuela. I guess telling him he's a lunatic and cutting of trade with Venezuela as a result of this madman falls under that category.

Who cares about Venezuela anyway? The only good thing to come out of there is Omar Vizquel, one of the greatest shortstops in baseball history.

Good News From The War On Terror 6/24

4 terrorists killed, 14 suspects detained in Coalition raids

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Coalition Forces killed four terrorists and detained 14 suspected terrorists Sunday during operations around Iraq targeting leaders and operatives for al-Qaeda.

Operations south of Hawija targeted a known al-Qaeda terrorist leader who has been operating in Iraq to facilitate the movement of foreign fighters into the country.  As Coalition Forces approached the targeted building, four men got into a vehicle and drove away from the area.  Coalition Forces followed the men, one of whom was believed to be the targeted terrorist.  When the vehicle stopped, the men got out of the vehicle with weapons in hand.  Coalition Forces, responding appropriately to the hostile threat, engaged the armed men, killing them.

Inside the vehicle, Coalition Forces found rocket-propelled grenades.  They safely destroyed the vehicle and weapons on site and moved to the next targeted building, where they detained four suspected terrorists for their alleged involvement with the al-Qaeda leader.

In Baghdad, Coalition Forces targeted operatives in the al-Qaeda network when they raided two buildings in the city.  One man was wounded as Coalition Forces entered the building.  He was taken to a military medical facility for treatment.  Inside, Coalition Forces detained four suspected terrorists for their alleged association with al-Qaeda.  The ground force also discovered two vehicles that tested positive for explosives residue, which they safely destroyed.

Coalition Forces captured an alleged al-Qaeda in Iraq religious leader during a raid west of Taji, and detained four more suspected terrorists for their involvement with the targeted individual.

Coalition operation uncovers multiple caches

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Coalition Forces conducted several raids targeting al-Qaeda in Iraq activities in support of Operation Arrowhead Ripper June 20-22 near Khan Bani Sa’ad.

As the ground force entered the area south of Baqubah, they received small arms fire from a group of armed men.  Coalition Forces, responding in self-defense, returned fire, wounding one armed man, before calling in close air support.  A Coalition aircraft engaged the enemy force, killing five terrorists and wounding one suspected terrorist.  The two wounded individuals were taken to a military medical facility for treatment.

During the 48-hour operation, Coalition Forces discovered a terrorist safe house, containing weapons, handcuffs, ammunition, stretchers, black masks and homemade explosives.

Ground forces also found during the two-day operation several weapons caches containing mortars, rockets, chemicals used for making explosives, and a stolen fire department vehicle.  Additionally, Coalition Forces found a vehicle in a palm grove rigged as a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device.  All the weapons and explosives were safely destroyed on site.

Six al-Qaeda killed, five detained near Karmah

BAGHDAD – Six al-Qaeda members were killed and five were detained following a series of early-morning raids in the vicinity of Karmah June 21.

The individuals are believed to be responsible for numerous terrorist incidents, to include kidnappings, murder and improvised explosive device attacks against coalition and Iraqi Security Forces. Members of the cell are also believed to be responsible for the Feb. 7 shoot down of a U.S. Marine CH-46 helicopter that resulted in the deaths of seven Marines.

With Coalition Forces present as advisers, Iraqi Security Forces entered two residences and discovered a computer, various weapons, identification cards and propaganda materials.

Troops return to scene to find second weapons cache

BAGHDAD — Multi-National Division-Baghdad Soldiers discovered several caches during clearing operations in the East Rashid Security District of the Iraqi capital June 22.

Acting on a tip from neighborhood residents, Stryker troops from Company A, 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, attached to the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, seized a cache consisting of 17 60mm mortar rounds, one Dragunov SVD sniper rifle, 18 armor piercing rounds for the sniper rifle, more than 700 loose small arms ammunition, cell phones, cell phone initiators used in the creation of roadside bombs and 10 blasting caps.

The Attack Company Soldiers found the cache in an area they had previously cleared and discovered a sizeable cache of mortar systems, weapons and munitions.

Also, Soldiers of Co. C, 1st Bn., 38th Infantry located another smaller cache, also marking the second consecutive productive day of clearing by the “Chaos” Company troopers.

Neighborhood watch members lead Iraqi Army to Cache

TAJI, Iraq — A large cache of mortars and improvised explosive device-making material was revealed by members of a “neighborhood watch” to the Iraqi Army June 22.

During a foot patrol, members of the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 9th Iraqi Army Division (Mechanized) received a tip from volunteers participating as a part of a neighborhood watch in Falahat, a village in Taji.  On arrival at the location given in the tip, the Iraqi troops uncovered the buried cache.

The cache contained 39 mortar rounds, 30 pounds of high-explosive, a landmine, and an assortment of other material used to make IEDs. The items were transported to Camp Taji for proper disposal.

“The actions of these volunteers prove they are committed to preserving the security in their community,” said Lt. Col. Peter Andrysiak, deputy commander of the 1st “Ironhorse” Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division. “This is a very promising sign that the residents in this community are denying a safe haven to the insurgents and that the tribal leaders are serious about reconciling their differences with the Coalition and the Iraqi government.  It also demonstrates their confidence in the Iraqi Security Forces, as they turn to them vice Coalition Forces.”

The neighborhood watch is made up of a group of 500 volunteers who are currently being vetted for possible future selection for training as Iraqi Police or some other organization in the Iraqi Security Forces. The volunteers are members of a number of tribes in the Taji area who want reconciliation with the Coalition and the Iraqi government.

IA, CF discover IED factory after receiving tips

TIKRIT, Iraq – Iraqi Army and Coalition Forces conducted a joint raid, discovering a large factory used to make home-made explosives, improvised explosive devices and vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices Saturday, in Mosul, Iraq.

Soldiers assigned to 2nd Battalion, 4th Brigade, 2nd Iraqi Army, and Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry conducted the raid after receiving a tip on the location of the factory.  The factory consisted of three main sites where each of the HME, IED and VBIEDs were manufactured.

The site consisted of three separate buildings with one building used to prepare VBIEDs, a second used as an HME/IED factory and the third, a storage area for VBIED and IED-making materials.  Each of these buildings was connected by a tunnel that had openings into each part of the structure.

VBIED and IED factories were also found at the second and third sites.  IA and CF detained 32 suspects and discovered several vehicles, one being a truck originating from southern Iraq, which was being prepared for use as a VBIED.  Also in the buildings was detonation cord, bags of HME, propane tanks and other IED making materials.

Once all three sites were cleared, the entire compound was destroyed by air strikes and Explosive Ordnance Disposal, ensuring that no explosives or munitions remained.

'Chemical' Ali Sentenced To Hang

Shouldn't they use the gas chamber?

BAGHDAD - Two decades after Iraq's military laid waste to Kurdish villages, the Iraqi High Tribunal on Sunday sentenced Ali Hassan al-Majid, known as "Chemical Ali," and two others to death for their roles in the bloody campaign against the restive ethnic minority.

Al-Majid, a cousin of executed former President Saddam Hussein, was convicted of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes for ordering army and security services to use chemical weapons in an offensive said to have killed some 180,000 people during the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war.

The Kurds should be dancing in the streets today.

Iraqi Forces kill insurgents during Operation Arrowhead Ripper

BAGHDAD – Iraqi Army Forces killed five insurgents near Baqubah June 20 as Iraqi and Coalition Forces continued operations against al-Qaeda and its affiliates.

Iraqi Forces with Coalition Forces present as advisors observed five individuals placing an improvised explosive device near a bridge in the Khatoon district of Baqubah in the early morning hours in violation of the imposed curfew. The Iraqi Forces determined there was hostile intent and engaged the individuals with small arms fire. Iraqi Forces also discovered a second IED nearby.

Explosives experts detonated both IEDs in place with no damage to nearby structures.
Iraqi Forces also detained four other individuals during the operation.

Iraqi Special Operations Forces detain insurgent leader in Sadr City

BAGHDAD – Iraqi Special Operations Forces conducted an early morning operation June 22 and detained a key rogue Jaysh al-Mahdi insurgent leader in Sadr City.

7 terrorists killed, 10 detained, bombs destroyed

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Coalition Forces killed seven terrorists and detained 10 suspected terrorists during operations targeting al-Qaeda in Iraq leaders and operatives Friday and Saturday.

Coalition Forces targeted an al-Qaeda in Iraq senior leader during a Saturday raid in Tikrit.  While the ground force was securing the target building, a vehicle approached on the road at a high rate of speed.  Ground force elements on the road attempted to stop the vehicle with visual and audio signals.  When the vehicle continued to speed toward them, Coalition Forces engaged the vehicle to stop it, and killed two men inside.  The vehicle swerved and lodged in a fence, where the ground forces found an improvised explosive device on the back seat.  Coalition Forces cleared civilians from the area and called in an air strike to destroy the vehicle, which produced secondary explosions after the strike.

Inside the building, Coalition Forces detained two suspected terrorists with alleged ties to the targeted al-Qaeda in Iraq leader.

East of Fallujah, Coalition Forces raided four buildings Saturday while looking for associates of a high-level al-Qaeda in Iraq terrorist.  As Coalition Forces advanced on the building, a group of armed men fired on them from a nearby patch of reeds.  Reacting to the hostile threat, the ground force called in close air support to engage the armed men.  Five men armed with rifles, light machine guns and grenades were killed in the strike.

Coalition Forces discovered two vehicles outside the building with ammunition, hand grenades and mortar rounds inside.  The ground force moved the vehicles away from buildings and civilians and safely destroyed the munitions on site.

Based on information gained from an operation June 16, Coalition Forces targeted an area south of Baghdad Saturday and captured an alleged member of the Baghdad vehicle-borne IED network.  The suspect is also believed to provide foreign fighters and weapons to the network.

Coalition Forces captured an alleged Kurdish extremist associated with attacks in northern Iraq areas during a Friday raid in Mosul.  The suspect is believed to be involved in facilitating the movement of foreign fighters, as well as conducting financial and media operations for al-Qaeda in Iraq.  Four other suspected terrorists were detained in nearby raids.

CF, ISF searches yield torture chamber, bomb-rigged houses in Baqouba

BAQOUBA, Iraq – On day four of Operation Arrowhead Ripper, Task Force Lightning and Iraqi soldiers continued sweeping through Baqouba, Iraq, to root out al-Qaida in Iraq.

CF Soldiers worked shoulder-to-shoulder with the Iraqi soldiers and police officers in and around the city during the operations. Coalition ground forces and air support provided critical assistance in targeting and destroying al-Qaida operatives and their safe havens.

In the Khatoon neighborhood of Baqouba, ISF and CF discovered a building suspected of being used as a torture chamber. Ground forces observed various weapons, including knives and saws, inside the building as well as blood stains throughout the building. After securing the area, the building and its contents were destroyed by an attack helicopter armed with Hellfire missiles.

Also in Khatoon, CF destroyed two houses that contained 45 water heaters filled with homemade explosives, IED making materials and computer equipment. One of the houses also contained several booby trapped freezers.

Iraqi police were conducting security operations in and around the village  of Khalis when Coalition attack helicopters from the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade and ground forces from 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, observed 15-20 armed men attempting to circumvent the IPs and infiltrate the village.

The attack helicopters, armed with missiles, engaged and killed 17 al-Qaida gunmen and destroyed the vehicle they were using.

I Don't Care!

I received this email today that describes exactly how I feel.

"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?...Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and-you guessed it-I don't care !!

And may I add:

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

 AMEN!

Religion Of Peace Using Children As Suicide Bombers

Except the kids have no idea what's going on. I think it's become apparent that courage is not a prerequisite for becoming a RoP holy warrior. Those Taliban losers must really be pathetic if they need to use children to fight NATO soldiers. Looks like Allah has abandoned them.

Children as young as six are being used by the Taliban in increasingly desperate suicide missions, coalition forces in Afghanistan claimed yesterday.

The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), to which Britain contributes 5,000 troops in southern Afghanistan, revealed that soldiers defused an explosive vest which had been placed on a six-year-old who had been told to attack Afghan army forces in the east of the country.

The boy was spotted after appearing confused at a checkpoint. The vest was defused and no one was hurt.

The claim came only hours after the second report this week that civilians had been killed in NATO military operations.

[...]

Yesterday ISAF said it was investigating reports from the Afghan authorities that civilians had been killed. But it also accused the Taliban of using civilians as battleground cover, and said the incident with the boy signaled a new type of tactic. The boy had been ordered to target a check point in Miri, in the Andar district of Ghazni province.

"They placed explosives on a six-year-old boy and told him to walk up to the Afghan police or army and push the button," said Captain Michael Cormier, the company commander who intercepted the child, in a statement. "Fortunately, the boy did not understand and asked patrolling officers why he had this vest on."

Lieutenant Colonel David Accetta, ISAF eastern regional command spokesman, told the Guardian: "In the past we have not seen the Taliban sink that low, to use children as suicide bombers. The personnel secured the vest to make sure the child was safe."

Lt Col Accetta said the procedure for dealing with an armed minor had so far been untested in Afghanistan.

"It would have been difficult to know what to do considering it was a six-year-old boy and he was presumably going to push the button himself or someone was going to detonate it for him remotely," Lt Col Accetta said.

The rules of military engagement are easily muddied when a child poses a direct threat, he explained. "What we do if we identify the fact that an adult is wearing a suicide vest is we use whatever force we deem necessary to protect the lives of our soldiers and any civilians. Of course it makes it more difficult - it's a six year-old child."

Iran Has "Surge" In Iraq Also

They wouldn't want a democratic Iraq, that would give the Iranian people ideas.

BAGHDAD, June 22 (UPI) -- Iran has responded to the U.S. surge in Iraq with its own surge, the commander of the multinational force said Friday.

Lt. Gen. Ray Odierno told journalists increased Iranian backing for Iraqi militants apparently started in March, CNN reported.

"I think as we talked about surging forces ... I think maybe Iran decided to surge more money, conduct a bit more training and surge a few more weapons into Iraq at the same time," Odierno said.

Odierno said U.S. and Iraqi troops have been working on securing Diyala Province, which borders Iraq, and its capital, Baquba, to "cut those lines" from Iran.

The Iranian government has denied any efforts to supply forces in Iraq.

Can we please wipe them out? Daily bombing of the border should prevent them from coming across.

‘Arrowhead Ripper’ continues to pressure al-Qaida

BAQOUBA, Iraq – Iraqi Security Forces teamed with Task Force Lightning units, Thursday, to clear Baqouba and surrounding areas as Operation Arrowhead Ripper continued.

“We are shoulder-to-shoulder with Iraqi Security Forces in this fight,” said Brig. Gen. Mick Bednarek, deputy commanding general, operations, and commander of Operation Arrowhead Ripper.  “Specifically the 5th Iraqi Army Division led by Maj. Gen. Saleem Kariem Ali Alotbei, along with the provincial director of police, Maj. Gen. Ganim, have provided the Iraqi security forces to the fight.

The weeks ahead are absolutely key in not only holding and retaining the ground that is cleared in partnership with Coalition Forces, but also in building trust and confidence with the citizens of Diyala.”

In support of the operation, attack helicopters from 2nd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Squadron, 82nd Attack Reconnaissance Battalion provided assistance to Iraqi and Coalition ground forces, killing at least 13 al-Qaida operatives and destroying an al-Qaida compound during the second day of the operation.

In a separate engagement, CF Soldiers discovered an empty school complex rigged with explosives in Baqouba, the capital city of Diyala province, Thursday, during Operation Arrowhead Ripper.

Soldiers of 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment discovered the booby-trapped school complex. An investigation of the area determined the school and surrounding buildings had been abandoned.

CF had to destroy the school due to risk to the community. CF were unable to disable the explosives because of instability. Ground forces effectively coordinated a precisions guided munitions strike and successfully destroyed the school-borne IED.  There were no civilian injuries or deaths as a result of this action.

As Arrowhead Ripper continued through June 21, at least 51 al-Qaida operatives have been killed, with 20 al-Qaida operatives detained, seven weapons caches discovered, 21 improvised explosive devices destroyed and nine booby-trapped structures destroyed.

MND-B Soldiers detain 18 in raids

CAMP TAJI, Iraq — Multi-National Division - Baghdad Soldiers conducted three raids in northwestern Baghdad, detaining 18 suspects as well as weapons and equipment June 21.
